Hours of operation – Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm Closed 1st Friday of month from 2 – 4pm
Birth and Death Certificates Requests received before 12 NOON will be available after 3PM same day.
Requests made after 12 NOON will be available after 10:00am the following day.

FDOH in Wakulla County acts as an information resource for county residents and health care providers including.

Confidential HIV counseling & testing for HIV
Referral of persons with HIV/AIDS for services.
Aids Drug Assistance Program (ADAP)
Provision of free HIV/AIDS medications for qualifying persons.

A DCFrepresentative is available to assist you at the Wakulla One Stop Communjity Center on Thursdays 9am – 4:30pm

Services offered at DOH in Wakulla Dental Clinic
Basic dental care with emphasis on prevention is provided for children age 1 mo. to 20 yrs inclucing exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, fillings, and simple extractions.

Services are available by appointment for:

Medicaid eligible children with Liberty/Staywell, Prestige/Argus or Sunshine.
Children enrolled in the Headstart Program and/or Children’s Medical Services (CMS)
Children covered by Kid Care or Healthy Kids administered by Argus.
DOH in Wakulla Dental Clinic is NOT a provider for programs administered by DentaQuest.

Clinic Appointments are available 7:30 – 12:00 and 1:00 – 4:00 Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

On Wednesdays mobile dental equipment is used to provide limited exam, hygiene and sealant services in the local schools.

Quit-For-Life Communicable Disease Control & Prevention STD Treatment (Tx) Guide App
Florida smokers wishing to kick the habit can now get free help by calling the Florida Quit-For-Life Line toll-free at
877-U CAN NOW. The hotline, available in English, Spanish, and TDD for the hearing impaired, provides callers with counseling and other information to help them quit smoking.
